This is the consequences of being "pro-life"

Rosa Hernandez's 16 year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia and should have been treated. The problem was that she was 10 weeks pregnant, the treatment for leukemia can induce a miscarriage and living in the Dominican Republic, where abortion is illegal. For 20 days doctors refused to treat her while her mother pleaded with them to put her life first. On Friday, she died. And the 10 week embryo that doctors put ahead of a 16 year old girl? Was 20 days of foetal cell division worth more than an actual person?

If Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have their way, the exact same "personhood" provision that caused this death will be put in the American Constitution. They would put embryos ahead of women, and would rather see both die than allow an abortion.
